Born in Dibra,  Albania in 1914, Ymer Doda left Albania in 1946 and took refuge in Greece. He hails from a notorious anti-communist family which he left behind interned in concentration camps. He fought against the Germans and the communists and therefore was labeled a ‘war criminal’ and wanted by the communist regime.
