Ndue Pjeter Prenge Kola (Gjomarkaj)

Born in Mirdita in 1920, he was a cousin of Kapidan Gjon Markagjoni.

Ndue Pjeter was forced to leave Albania in 1944 with the arrival of the communist regime. He was a member of the BKI and one of the first to participate in the drop missions into Albania in February 1949,  along with Ndue Gjon Melyshi, Alush Lleshanaku and Xhevdet Blloshmi.

Ndue Pjeter was delegated by Kapidan Gjon Markagjoni as the leader of the mission and of the newly created “Executive Committee”. He was instrumental in carrying out this and other missions.

He ultimately made Palermo, Italy, his home where he died in 2013.
